Naramata
2020
This older home overlooking Okanagan Lake from the Naramata hillside was in need of an update. Our team has brought the interior of this home a fresh look with a major renovation.
For photos of this renovation, check out the gallery here.
Here is what the home owner had to say:
“We purchased our 30 year old house 10 years ago and soon realised how much work it was going to be to renovate it and brighten it up; a new septic field pump and processing tanks, a new legal 2 bedroom basement rental suite, two kitchens, a wet bar, three modernized bathrooms and our master ensuite and bedroom and gorgeous stairways. Other work needed included cabinetry design and fabrication, plumbing, extensive rewiring, ceilings, walls, insulation, vinyl flooring, floor tiling, 16ft long x 8ft high quad slider and other replacement windows and painting internally and externally – quite the make-over !!!
Our house was essentially renewed from the inside out and with a ‘top dressing’ of new exterior cement board siding over old tired looking stucco and with a panache of new smart trim detailing.
We engaged Okanagan Glacier Homes who, after review and research we selected to be our Main Contractor for their ‘vision’, which melded with ours, their openness and honesty on cost.
Okanagan Glacier Homes ‘fit the bill’ after extensive discussions and walkdowns and discussions with other companies.
Okanagan Glacier Homes did a magnificent job over the year long renovation. We are exceedingly happy with their professionalism, their enthusiasm and solutions to some of the reno challenges we encountered.
OGH’s crew and sub-contractors were courteous, cordial and especially considerate to our 80 year old mother who was living in the house throughout the experience as the extensive renovations were ongoing literally around her and, to her amazement.
We love our newly remodelled and rejuvenated home.
THANK YOU Okanagan Glacier Homes !!! An incredible job you did for us.”
